Force
This book takes off immediately after the Return of the Jedi movie. There is no need worrying about catching up or not reading any of the other books. All the fimilar characters are there as well as new villians. The remaining members of the now ruin empire want to bring down Luke. Leia, as always is awesome in this book. She and Solo work well off each other. The author really captured both Solo's and Leia's personality well.
