Interesting, informative and an easy read
Long awaited study of grey literature, Richard Bradley toured the UK calling at a large number of Archaeological units, SMR's, HER's, County Records Offices and what appears to be anywhere where historical and archaeological information is held. This research into the "Grey Literature" makes for an informative and interesting read, a must for Archaeolgists and Pre-Historians at every level. Written in Bradleys "Easy to read" style helps even the amateur and less knowledgeable get to grips with Britains past. Academics may however find some of Bradley's comments and conclusions a little contentious and disagree, but thats part of their job. This book is like a breath of fresh air through the stuffy atmosphere of dusty archives.
