Very Good+ in Very Good jacket. 11 1/2 x 16" Unpaginated. Bright yellow cloth. Folio sized. 24 Gorgeous full color magazine covers reproduces in poster size from Vogue Magazine issues dating from 1911 to 1917. Foxing along the inner hinges, otherwise a fine, unmarked copy. Intro. by Diana Vreeland. Unclipped pictorial jacket has closed tears on the spine edges and corners. This collection portrays the era of fashion and design of the early 20th century society. The feminine drapery and feathers of the 1910's, the bangles and beads of the Jazz Age rendered by the artists of Vogue. Although commercial art was dominated by men, sixteen of these twenty-four covers were created by women artists such as Helen Dryden and Srah Stilwell Weber. Laid in is a glossy black and white print of the November 15, 1911 cover, which appears in full color in the book.
