Great quality for bargain prices
The hard-backed and jacketed copy of Hans Christian Anderson Fairytales complete with illustrations was in wonderful condition when I received it, practically brand-new. The old-fashioned charming illustrations, clear print and beautiful jacket were not was I was expecting for such a bargain price, and is a book I will keep forever. I would recommend buying this book and other classics from Alibris for great quality.

Beautiful Book
The book is a hardcover with gold-leaf edges. It also has a ribbon bookmark that I find very useful. The pages of the book are similar in material to those of a Bible which can be torn easily if not handled with care, so I would suggest that you do not let your children play around with it too much. Otherwise the book is beautiful and to me it looks like a book that belongs in a fairy tale. The stories are wonderful as well as classics of all times. I enjoyed reading it to my children as much as I enjoyed reading it myself.
