All of Ms. Heyer's Regency romances are worth reading--and re-reading, too. For quality of writing, characterization, plotting, humor and romance, she can't be bettered. As a genre, I don't even like romance novels--but that's because none of her imitators reach Heyer's standard. Reading a Georgette Heyer romance is like reading a good book rather than a comic book. Or like reading Jane Austen.
