I don't think I've ever read a book so fast. I love Brad Meltzer's books. Am presently on his 5th book and each one surpasses the earlier one. I'm a Meltzer fan. You won't be disappointed with The First Council.

Great read!
Great book with all the fixins'. Comedy, suspense, mystery and romance all rolled into one edge of your seat thriller. Meltzer's best of his first three novels by far.
