This book is basically boring. It is simply a very simplified dictionary of common English surnames that one could get by surfing the web. Uncreative and not what I thought I was purchasing. I won't throw it away but I know that Adams comes from Adam, the first. Come on and add something about the Adams families, just a sentence or two would have made the book of some interest.
