This book was required for UAA (University of Alaska Anchorage) Nursing MSN Biostats class. It covers much more than what I needed and at first, the author's way of presenting the information is very dry - of course, it's a dry subject. However, I was able to do well in my web-based class with the help of this text. I plan to keep it for my actual thesis writing in about a year. Overall not a bad text, good glossary and index - essential for learning this language....
