Seller's Description:
Collectible Good. 1st printing. Cloth & boards. 338pp. A couple of illustrations. Appendix ("A Protocol for Encounter"). References. Index. Map of the Dark Divide. Warmly-written presentation on the half-title signed & dated by Pyle in year of publication. Also Pyle's signature on the title page. A wide-ranging book on the Pacific Northwest and its ecology, but with an undercurrent of the author's interest in sasquatch. In time this book should be regarded as a Pacific NW classic. The back cover has a 1 inch wide band of fade across the top. There is a much more subtle fade to the top of the front cover. This knocks the grading down to "good" even though the book is near fine otherwise. The vg unclipped dj has a small chip at the bottom of the backstrip ans a very short tear at the top of same, and is very mildly soiled if that. If you collect sasquatch books, i think you need this in your library. A copy is in mine!
