book>film
while at first i was hesitant to reread this, i was thoroughly pleased when i had finished. i recall being forced to read it in high school and then having the movie shown to us, afterwards. of course, the book was better, as all nerds (that's what i would have to classify myself as) would say.
anywho, lets hope i'm not being biased based on my step-father's friendship with david keith. (and if you don't get the reference, that's all the more reason to read the book first.)

This book was a "little to much" for me. Maybe a man would enjoy it a lot more than I did. Too much detail about the military school dicipline.
