I have now bought two other books by this author from Alibris the one I am reviewing now is The Wisdom Books wow! Mr.Alter brings the Old Testament alive with butting in the Hebrew word that would be in the original text and then explains it.shed a different light on the Old Testament doesn't change anything we believe just a great new Love for our God would highly recommend this book and others that He wrote.
