the last of the Tiffany series which started with Wee Free Men. She's now 16, and has her own steading back home in the chalk. She learns some valuable lessons, clarifies her relationship with the Baron's son (no, I'm not telling how that works out), and is stalked by the evil of hatred and religious fundamentalism and experiences how it poisons and destroys. (despite the best the Feegles can do). I make sure all my grandaughters (birthed and adopted) get a copy.

I am a big fan of terry pratchett I like pretty much any of his disc world series although a lot of histories are more on the comedic side I still like this particular series anyway. it goes more into the characters and there background more than most of his storiese
