This book held my interest from the first page to the last. It made me laugh and cry. I liked it so much that I've already read it twice. I keep picking it up to read over my favorite spots. It is very witty and wise. I first borrowed it from the library but I like the book so much I have purchased it. It is romance at its best. There were a few words that I would rather the author had not put into the conversations. I was able to overlook these words because the book was so rich and full of promise. I wish someone would make it into a movie. Ellen's first book just can't be her last. I am looking forward to another story from a great storyteller. This book is full of life and the characters became so real to me that they are like old friends.
