No one knows how to write an historical romance novel like Ms. Jenkins. I loved all of the characters in this novel (especially Dixon Wildhorse). Trust me once you finish this novel you will be a Beverly Jenkins Junky!! I am so strung out on her novels that I have actually read some of them twice (Topaz is one of them).
The story is full of humor, love, and fascinating historical information. I have read all of Beverly's books, and Topaz is one of my absolute favorites!!
