Danielle Steel explores the perils of dating, relationships, and love in a novel that takes us into the intoxicating, infuriating world of three charming single men, also known as... Toxic Bachelors They were the best of friends and the most daunting of bachelors....Charlie Harrington, a handsome philanthropist, has such high expectations for his perfect bride that no mortal need apply....Adam Weiss, a forty-something celebrity lawyer, prefers his women very young, very voluptuous, and very short-term....And for Gray Hawk, a gifted artist with a knack for attracting troubled relationships, women are fine; it's just the idea of family he can't imagine (particularly the family of the woman he's dating). Now the three friends, spending their annual summer vacation cruising the Mediterranean aboard Charlie's majestic yacht, are about to have their bachelorhood rocked. By autumn all three will fall precipitously into relationships they never saw coming. Charlie begins dating a crusading social worker who couldn't be further from his ideal-until he makes a stunning discovery about her. Adam gets involved with his usual twenty-something bombshell-only this one has a remarkable mind of her own. And Gray, who has avoided both business and family like the plague, has managed to fall head over heels for a successful career woman- who just happens to be a mother as well. As another holiday on the yacht approaches, and with it a turning point in each man's life, the three bachelors are forced to face the things that scare them most: their phobias about relationships, the wounds of the past-and the kind of women who challenge their deepest terrors. What happens next will spark big changes for Charlie, Adam, and Gray-and might just put an end to their carousing days forever. For as the once-carefree trio is about to discover, love is the most unpredictable adventure of all. Filled with all the joy, complexity, and unexpected surprises of life, Toxic Bachelors is Danielle Steel at her poignant and penetrating best.

Toxic Bachelors by Danielle steel These three inseparable and attractive friends; each one determined to stay single by different reasons. The three friends take their annual summer Mediterranean booze cruise on Charles's yacht. Back in New York, each ends up crossing paths with a woman who turns his life upside down. After the initial attraction, there are confrontations, challenges and threats to promising relationships. The three find true love with three remarkable women. They must learn that embracing love and commitment may be their riskiest adventure. One by one, they find themselves; falling deeply in love with women they wouldn't even have considered dating. The storytelling format was from the male perspective; new in D.S. stories. I was very pleased with the endings of each man. I believe that she touched the feelings of a lot of men in this world. I have read it, and highly encourage others to do the same. I only wish that more men would read it, Overall it is very good read. I was a dedicated reader of Danielle Steel in her earlier years. I did enjoy the story.

Toxic Bachelors
TOXIC BACHELORS I am dedicated reader of Danielle Steel, but I miss the writer that wrote Full Circle, Palomino, and Thurston House. Danielle Steel is a remarkable woman, who has raised 9 children, lost a son to suicide, and does a lot of humanitarian work.
BUT in this novel ?Toxic Bachelors? - The writing style is poor and it seems that they forgot to edited the book before publication. The story did not grab or hold me like I have come to expect from a person who is known as, "The world's most popular author."
Since the death of her son Nick, I feel that her heart just isn't in it anymore. She has become very predictable, using the same story line, and is simply chucking out books because, she is obligated to by her publishers.
Definitely not the Danielle Steel I remember reading all those years ago. I was pregnant with my first child (now 26) when I first picked up one of her books, "Palomino." And since then I became a collector of her novels.
As a collector I won?t stop buying her novels, I will percipher and hope that her writing will improve and maybe get back to the outstanding writing of before
The book is, about three men who are mean, unlikable, have many flaws and lots excess baggage (toxic) a person almost pities the women who end up with them.
Bachelor 1 - Charlie, a rich guy. He lost his parents at a young age, his sister leaves school to raise him, but before he can he graduated from college, she dies. He just can?t find the perfect girl to marry. Also is has a phobia that anyone he gets close to will either leave him or die.
Bachelor 2 - Adam, also rich but a huge disappointment to the family. He?s divorced, and his two children live with the ex. He dates girls half his age and never stays with one long, as he has no desire to ever marry again.
Bachelor 3 - Gary, a struggling artist. He has no desire to ever marry or date.
Once a year the three me on Charlie's yacht, partying and celebrating, the vows of no commitments.
But as luck would have it, things chance, one by one, each one falls in love with a women who helps them overcome their phobia about commitments.
Overall, I did enjoy the story but it tends to drag on in parts

Reminds me of the toxic bachelors Ive met.
Ive read many of Danielle Steel books, but this one I couldnt put the book down. You have these three men who want nothing to do with settling down with any woman in the world and towards the middle of the book you get the unexpected. Where they begin to breakdown their walls and let three woman who they would have never thought they would be with into their hearts. I recommend this book for those who have given up hope in their personal lives about finding the special someone.
