I don't know why I bought this. Anne Rice isn't truely a very good writer . I have read I thnk most all of her books , and I haven't found one that I really liked Except for Ramses the Damned .

Another hit by Anne Rice
David Talbot finds himself drawn between his mortal life and his new life as a vampire when he finds a woman who infatuated him as a mortal and drives him mad as a vampire. This is a great book that describes the voodoo that is in use even today in New Orleans and other places in the south where things never change much. Merrick is taken in by the Talamasca when she is a young child due to the death of her Grandma and her powers as a witch. Yet again Anne Rice puts out a good trip into her world.
