I am so glad that I picked this book up. It was so awesome that I found my eyelids closing, as I didn't want to put it down at bedtime! I loved Suzanne's light hearted, realistic, amusing, and humble approach to love and finding "the right one." I appreciate Suzanne's ability to make her character vulnerable and real. I also appreciated the references to San Francisco, and The Bay Area, as this is where I am from! I loved this book, and her second one, "Zygote Chronicles." I just got her third novel, "Split," and I can't wait to start reading it tonight. Rock on Suzanne Finnamore!

"Love is an Insanity...Curable by Marriage"
Ambrose Bierce may have gotten it only partially right. Eve finds out that the insanity is already starting after her boyfriend proposes?and they haven?t even sent out the invitations yet. Maybe that?s why she?s still talking to her psychiatrist, Reuben, about her pre-wedding jitters.
Excerpt:
?What?s alarming now,? I said to him, ?is whenever I notice anything about Michael, I hear the striking of a Chinese gong and the words FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE echo through my head.?
?Like what?? he asked, far too interested.
?Like the way hair grows on his earlobes,? I said. I wished I could clearly see Reuben?s ears, but I couldn?t. We just weren?t ever going to get that close.
End of excerpt.
As far as I?m concerned, this book has reinforced my decision to stay single.
