First-issue dust jacket with publisher's $35.00 price on front flap. Dark-blue hardcover with silver lettering on spine and front cover. Large, heavy, very thick book measuring 9 1/2" x 6 7/8" x 2 1/4" and weighing nearly 4 pounds.1, 014 text pages. NEAR FINE book in NEAR FINE dust jacket. Book is very bright and clean, tightly bound, straight and square. Faint vertical crease down the center of spine and slight creasing at spine ends. No bumping, staining, sunning or wear. Flawless interior except bottom edge of front pastedown and blank front flyleaf were not cut properly by the publisher leaving a small creased piece hanging at the bottom edge of the flyleaf which previous owner placed clear tape over as support. Bright, crisp pages appear unread. No previous owner markings. Dust jacket is bright and clean with touches of slight creasing along the top edges and a vertical crease down the center of the spine panel. No tears or surface wear. Jacket is protected in an archival mylar cover.
