Ordo Temporalis, Sive Proprium De Tempore Totius Anni, una Cum Ordinali Suo Quod Usitato Vocabulo Dicitur Pica Sive Directorium Sacerdotum The Fasciculus here presented to the Reader contains two of the four main divisions of the Breviary, that is to say, the Kalendar (kalendarium) and the Proper of Seasons (tem porale). It has been already explained that the constant reference to the Psalterium and Commune Sanctorum from all other parts of the book rendered it necessary to print that portion first. A few pages of Introduction, brie y describing the com ponent parts of the Breviary and stating the characteristics of this edition, will be found at the beginning of the F asciculus which contains the psalterium (with the Commune Sanctorum and other miscellaneous matter). The Editors have thought it best to defer their main Preface or Introduction (promised in the preceding Fasciculus) till the completion of the work, so that they may be able to give the latest results which have been reached in this branch of study.
