Great little 'Cold War' novel. To defeat alien empire, Earthmen go undercover on planets ruled by aliens. They then resort to subversion techniques to demoralize the aliens. This book shows the paranoia of the times. Do not think this technique would really work, but if you enjoy good propaganda driven stroyn and aliens are really gullible, great story.

SciFi Satire
EFR is the best satirist in the SciFi genre. This is, arguably, his best novel.

one man's deeds multiply
Science fiction story with some oddities but in general an excellent piece of adventure featuring a lone saboteur on an alien world. Given a lot of money and some not unlikely devices, he manages to upset the world's rulers without doing anything actually tremendous. Believable if you start with a 1950s mentality.
