I have been searching high and low for books that could show me a lot of different stitches. It's been years since I picked up a needle, and since I'm quite rusty with my skills, I needed refreshing on some of the basics but I was also looking for new ideas. Most of what I found had the basics and only a few others. This book has scads of stitches and stitching ideas, and I found quite a few new ones that I had never seen before. I used stitches learned in this book to create a wall hanging for my new grandchild. I look forward to using some of the others for the baptismal gown!
