During 1979, John Presley was economic adviser in the Ministry of Planning where he assisted with the preparation of the Third Development Plan. He has also written "European Monetary Integration" with Peter Coffey, "Currency Areas: Theory and Practice" with G.E.J.Dennis, "Robertsonian Economics" and is editor of "Pioneers of Modern Economics in Britain Volumes 1 and 2" with David Greenaway.
