Loved reading this book - have missed the series
on TV for too long.
Love the writing. Always a "mystery" to me.

Can't outwit Cadfael
For anyone who has a interest in medieval history and a love for mystery you must start reading the brother Cadfael series from the first book to the last you will not want to put them down or for them to end. They are full of your love of history and there is no better asleuth than this modest monk from Wales who after serving many years as a soldier in the crusades decides to take the robes of a Benedictine monk in Shropshire, England. One Corpse to many will get you hooked on the brother as he tries to figure out why there are too many corpses after a Lord of King Stephen orders the hanging of the men who were holding the Castle that that he finally overwhelmed after a bloody seige. You will find romance gone wrong then romance come anew, you'll feel part of the atmosphere of medieval lives and law. A must read book you can't put down until you find out just who is that extra body and why was he included amongst the hanged men who fought against King Stephen.
