Cormac McCarthy has the most interesting style I have ever read. it flows easily but you must pay attention to the many characters. Really hard to put down

Very weird. I keep telling myself I don't like it but I can't stop reading it. What's going to happen next?

Much better than the movie!
The philosophical insights of the sheriff, which were used so sporadically in the movie that they seemed to be digressions, add depth to the unutterable violence that takes place. A must read.
