Too many superlatives have been used in praise of the mediocre that there is little left to say about pure excellence.
Simply put...this is a masterpiece!
Ms George is an author whose meticulous research and writing- talent is second to none.
This book left me feeling grateful that I love to read..and blessed that I read this book.

Excellent Book About Cleopatra
Anyone interested in Ancient Egypt or Rome would thoroughly enjoy this novel. The novel itself is fiction, however the historical accuracy is excellent. I adore Cleopatra and this time period and I simply could not put this book down. I wish it was a 1,000 more pages!

A must read
For anyone interested in Egyptian or Roman history this is a must read. The author has done a lot of research on the subject and I found it one of the best books, and the most believable, of the events that occured in the life of Cleopatra. This author writes her characters so that you feel that you know them intimately and they feel like an old friend. I have read most of Ms. George's books and find the well researched and a wonderful read. A disappointment to finish as you wish the story could go on and on.
