I have read many books by Phyllis A Whitney and consider this The Turquoise Mask as one of her best mysteries. It holds your attention from beginning to end. You start and and the entangled web the story spins from the beginning holds you captive whereas you find it difficult to lay the book aside and can't wait till you get to the next chapter to find out what lies ahead . She definitely is the master of suspense in her genre and I find all her books delightful and intriguing . I am certain that anyone will find in a book by Phyllis A Whitney ( and she has written a very many) an escape to a wonderful world of imagination and suspense. She is absolutely superb as an author.
