This book has provided me with a handy source of information in regards to small animal surgery. I believe it is worth purchasing if your a veterinary student as you will use it throughout your career. Many veterinary practices i have worked at have used this book for a reference for surgical procedures. It is easy to follow and illustrations provide a good visual aid. It great for those starting surgery in 4th and 5th years as it starts with basic knot tying, equipment , principles of surgery and moves up from there. I would recommend it

This is a great book for students. It made learning how to perform surgeries for the first time much easier and will be a valued resource throughout clinics and while in practice. It has great pictures and step by step instructions. I would highly recommend to other veterinary students as well as to practitioners.
