The Curious Researcher offers an inquiry-based theme throughout designed to remind writers that curiosity is still the best reason for uncovering information and ideas. Perfect for anyone seeking an alternative to more traditional reference works, this book shows writers that the research process, like the writing process, can be full of rewarding discoveries and demonstrates that research papers can be equally interesting and accessible.

Seller's Description:
This is an ex-library book and may have the usual library/used-book markings inside. This book has soft covers. Book contains pencil markings. In good all round condition. Please note the Image in this listing is a stock photo and may not match the covers of the actual item, 600grams, ISBN: 9780321175212.
This book is useful if, and only if, you have never written down anything, and have no concept of how to write a paper. In that case you may be better off going to a style guide rather than this book. Aside from the fact that the author dictates in a condescending fashion, and only references to you as a student, not a reader or writer, but that he writes in such a language that one would expect to find in a small children's book. I found myself thoroughly unimpressed.
