This book is well-written, concise, totally portable. It can serve either as a general introduction or as a reference to the subject of constitutional law.
UNFORTUNATELY, it is over 20 years old; the Rehnquist Court has come and gone and with it many important cases, including Casey, Bush v. Gore, and much more.
Apparently there is a new edition out; go for that one instead.
