I am a huge fan of Michael Caine, and was looking forward to this newest book, especially since I so enjoyed the first one he wrote. However, this one was a bit disappointing. The term "name dropping" comes to mind. It was mostly about who saw him, who began adoring him, who he sat with at lunch, etc. I got a bit bored with it about halfway through. I would have preferred to read something about the movies he made, things that happened while he was making them, how he felt getting caught up in all the Hollywood bruhaha, things of that sort. I really didn't care that much about the who's who of Hollywood who came to worship at his newly acquired throne.

Michael's memories
Michael Caine has left a large body of work behind him. Some bad but mostly good. This is one of the goods. He writes with a nice light style and keeps your interest. He is a very interesting person and he brings a lot of pleasure to his audience. Now all we need is some more wonderful movies.
