Liza Campbell's book takes an honest look at the difficulties of growing up in a privileged yet dysfunctional family. We share her pain, confusion and anger at what happens as the family begins to slowly disintegrate. I was drawn by her plight but at the same time irritated by the rather clumsy structure of the book. In spite of my frustration, I would not hesitate to recommend this book for its close up look at the damage family members can inflict on each other.
