The love of a young boy and girl in love...the consequences of a mistake when the girl finds herself with child...the interferring parents causing the girl to flee...the years that follow...such a sad story. Was very touched reading this book.

Family Dynamics
This book was a great example of the workings of family dynamics in the futures of two young people. It was so sad to see these two young people who were so very much in love be misguided and pulled apart by the very people who thought they had their utmost interests at heart. Through misunderstandings and lack of communication all their lives changed in ways one could not foresee or imagine. Two close families became torn apart and experienced loss and suffering that may have been avoided if they had been truthful from the beginning. It was a wonderful book and served as a great reminder to cherish the people in your lives and the life the Lord has blessed you with.

It's about Shane & Lauren, who have been in love with each other since elementary school. They messed around and got pregnant & were determined to stay together & raise their child. Their parents decided that they were too young to take on such a thing, so Shane's parents moved him to California & Lauren was left with her parents in Illionis. Lauren had the baby, and decided to go find Shane, their daughter got sick, so she went home. Lauren left the hospital to rest, called the hospital later that next day & was told he baby was gone. Lauren left to not be seen for 18 years later, when her daughter hunts her & Shane down, so they could be there when Lauren's day passes away.
