#1 WORLDWIDE BESTSELLER - While in Paris, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is awakened by a phone call in the dead of the night. The elderly curator of the Louvre has been murdered inside the museum, his body covered in baffling symbols. "Blockbuster perfection.... A gleefully erudite suspense novel." -- The New York Times "A pulse-quickening, brain-teasing adventure." -- People As Langdon and gifted French cryptologist Sophie Neveu sort through the bizarre riddles, they are stunned to discover a trail of clues hidden in the works of Leonardo da Vinci--clues visible for all to see and yet ingeniously disguised by the painter. Even more startling, the late curator was involved in the Priory of Sion--a secret society whose members included Sir Isaac Newton, Victor Hugo, and Da Vinci--and he guarded a breathtaking historical secret. Unless Langdon and Neveu can decipher the labyrinthine puzzle--while avoiding the faceless adversary who shadows their every move--the explosive, ancient truth will be lost forever.

I think the way Dan Brown works is really amazing. While you are reading a story, all the information that you read about cults, rituals, historic events and monuments are true and accurate. This book has a great story, is told in a superb way and is much better than the movie.

Fascinating
This is the first book by Mr. Brown that I have read. I was fascinated by this book from the very beginning. This book is full of twists and turns with a few puzzles tossed in. You will have finished this book without realizing you've spent all evening. This is not a book you want to pass up.

An Interesting Read
I only read this book because of the controversy surrounding it. I wanted to know what all the noise was about, so i did'nt expect to enjoy it as much as I did. It made you think about the possiblity of some things where religion is concerned. This book holds your attention from the very begining......

Very Interesting Book
I didn't think I would enjoy this book due to the involvement of religion but I thoroughly did. The problem solving in the book is excellent and I really liked the main character Langdon. A good read indeed!
