The Concrete Bible
This is one of the most referred books in Concrete Technology. His author is a very respected expert in the field.
The first edition is from 1963 and the author has improved the text in the later editions. This fourth edition was updated in order to reflect new tendencies and advances in concrete technology in recent years. The book contains theoretical and practical information on the properties and use of concrete. It also deals with the selection of mix proportions. It is a very recommendable text for courses on concrete at University. Other works from the same author are a good complement to this book: 'Neville on Concrete' (a very readable text), and 'Concrete: Neville's Insights and Issues' (very recent).
