Confabulation: Big word; normal, everyday activity
Ever wonder why you (if you realize and admit that you do), your spouse and your friends seem to "make up" stories about events you have in common which seem to differ from what you recall about those events? This book will help you realize how pervasive this activity is in humans, that it's a normal process of brain activity in some cases and an extremely abnormal activity in others, and explain why and what parts of the brain are involved in the process. I had read the book which I had borrowed from a library and found it so useful that I bought a copy for my own library. If your answer to the question at the beginning of this review was, "yes," you will really like this book.
