Seller's Description:
VG+ Brown cloth at spine; BW pictorial paper over boards; 246 pp.; 45 bw figures. Edited, with an introduction by Susan Elizabeth Ryan; From the back: "Somehow a Past" is gossipy, discursive, and self-distanced. Hartley drafted it several times, truncating the description of his traumatic childhood, and leaving out any over reference to his homosexuality. Yet there are moments of crystal clear self-characterization and leitmotifs that commemorate his troubled youth."

Seller's Description:
Very Good. Very Good condition. Hardcover edition. (Biography, Art, Painters, Autobiography) A copy that may have a few cosmetic defects. May also contain a few markings such as an owner's name, short gifter's inscription or light stamp.
I needed this book for a project I'm working on, and it's in good condition, exactly what I ordered.
However: the type is so small that I'm not sure I'll ever be able to read it. This must be what happens when it's "Print on Demand," but I would've been happy to pay more for something I could actually use.
