I was recommended this book by a colleague and he was right. This is a simple, practical and easy understanding of the monetary policy and it's functioning; not only applicable to the Federal Reserve but to any central bank who operates in a similar way. Not only talks about instruments and objectives of the central bank for policy making but also how they're suppose to think (according to theory) and how they do it (in practice) and the interaction of both. Great book!!
