Our daughter 1st loved this book when we read it to her when she was only 3 yrs old & then she read it many, many times on her own & never forgot about it. Our family even used several lines as catch phrases for many years as a great memory to its funny & whimsical play on words. Somehow the book was lost or misplaced. Now that our eldest daughter now 15 yrs old, at her request, we tried for a long time to find this book & when we did we were all ecstatic!! We will now share this with our other 3 younger children of which I know they will also enjoy this great little book & we hope to never lose it again.

Wonderful book
This was one of my favorite books when I was a kid and I bought it for my boss's new baby. It is simple, yet fun.

A clever, imaginative, and fun book
This book has stood the test of time and I ordered a replacement for the worn and yellowed original. It is so clever both in the rhymes and the illustrations that there is always something new for my grandchildren to notice. Many parts elicit a giggle or two and often a discussion about the inventive problem solving in the story,
