This book is much less 'brainy' then 2001 and 2010, I was actually surprised by this. Covers from the implosion of Jupiter to the formation of Lucifer and the changes that have happened on Europa from its 'rebirth' in 2010. Only the last 10 pages gets 'brainy,' so the reading 'flow' is easy and enjoyable. Doesn't add to the depth of the story as much as I thought it would, but I plan I reading 3001 and didn't want to miss anything in the storyline. Again, only for the really die hard fans of the series. When you read it, let me know what you thought.
