There is a full discussion of such key legislation as the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act, 1999, The Electronic Communications Act, 2000, The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act, 1998 and The Unfair Terms and Consumer Contracts Regulations, 1999. Key cases such as The Royal Bank of Scotland v. Etridge, Johnson v. Gore Wood & Co and Director General of Fair Trading v. First National Bank plc are also discussed.
