The articles in the volume concern primary manuscript sources, the majority of which have not been published so far. They examine various topics in Biblical exegesis and grammar. Exegesis and grammatical thought were intimately connected in medieval Karaite scholarship. This voliume reflects this close relationship between the two disciplines. It also shows the diversity of thought on medieval Karaism, which was a feature that gave it such vitality and creativity.
