Concise one-stop reference to Biblical texts
This manual contains the text of several important Biblical works in one handy volume. Besides expanding the text, the annotations refer you to parallels or alert you to anachronisms within the texts, and the layout is reasonably easy to follow for a reference book of this scope and size. I thoroughly recommend this book as the starting point to any student whose research or interest covers passages (or even episodes, for ex. in the study of Art History) from any Biblical texts. More advanced researchers, too, will surely benefit from its scholarly content.
