I teach college english, and this book is the best resource I've found for teaching and learning basic grammar (any edition). It's so marvelous "direct" and brief as it discusses each topic of grammar -- and common errors. Then at the end of each lesson, there are self-quizzes to take, with the answers in the book. My students love it. A really, really helpful book.
