Great book for introducing Isadora Duncan's work to children. Many of the illustrations are inspired by actual photos taken of Duncan during her lifetime. Compellingly told, the book opens with a child friendly account of Isadora's free thinking childhood which lead her to break with the traditions of her art form. Duncan's challenges and tragedies are not left out but seen as part of the story of a great American choreographer and artist.
