This is the very worthy and I think more fun sequel to The Wolves of Willoughby Chase.
It's the kind of vivid page-turner that would make a great family read-aloud story. But warning: don't let too much time pass after this one before embarking on the next, Black Hearts in Battersea. I don't like to say more - it's a spoiler - just trying to protect your children from a lingering, unnecessary sorrow.
