Interesting concept
I won't right a super long review.
But I have found that the techniques in this book which is an old book are found in a lot of the so called "New Age" books. The techniques are basically visualizing, saying a word/words in a mantra style, or as affirmations to ones' self or out loud whatever you prefer.
I am still reading this book. I find the concepts comforting and am very familiar with most of the techinques suggested. It is an easy read although the wording could be updated a little bit. It is a great book with a different look at helping ones self. I highly recommend it. I am noticing that the switchwords do work but remember they will only work if you believe they will as with any type of self help material. I believe that I am making progress with this book. It is not a huge book but not a super small book either.
I think people should try the switchword concept. It works just as good as "The Secret" or any of the other self help books of that genre out there, in fact even better because you don't have but only 1 to 3 words to repeat unless you want more. You don't have a whole paragraph to remember or a long sentence and you don't even have to think about the meaning of the words. This is a cool simple idea for the self help genre.
