It`s a very good book, rader old for the new techniques, maybe I got a 2000 edition , because the cover is diferent, It makes a good revei of wat crime scene officers ( no civilians ata ll), have to perform their duty, preserve evidense, do not touch the dead body (that`s the ME job ). The must have good writing skills to do all the paperwork, know how to deliver all the gathered info to the detectives , who finally do must of the investigation. The book explains hoy the CSI works an any kind of criminal invstigation, but the examples are boring and from roberies , the author does not explain very easily the laboratory techniques, (serology, DNA, trace) I recomended for people reali interested but I does not cover my expectatives nor all the ones needed to make a course or a MS in forensic science.
