This book is great! Germans are phasing out the estet ( ß ), and this book is old enough that is still uses it in older editions. The course is very systematic, and I learned a university semester's worth of German on my own with this book in 4 weeks, while still working 40-hour weeks and attending 2 religious services/masses per week.
