I like this book better than "Baby Miller" simply because it is more readable. We were required to read "Baby Miller" in our program, but I often read this book in addition or in place of the chapters in "Baby Miller". The clinical case scenarios at the end of each chapter and the key points section at the beginning of each chapter are also very useful.

anesthesiology
This book was recommended to me by two senior attendings for anyone going into anesthesiology. It has well written chapters about medication combinations, procedure techniques and other basics. It was one of the best books I have read in three years of medical school.
