I like the way Karin Slaughter writes and - at the very beginning - was excited I'd found a new author. The first crime scene was WAY too twisted for my taste, but once I got through it I felt like the worst was behind me. Not so. Slaughter goes on and on. I typically recycle books whether I like them or not, but this won't be one of them.
